Mica Now Encodes PL
As of Saturday morning, 9/16/2017, all three KARS repeaters both decode AND encode PL tone. If you would like to mute extraneous noise from your radio, feel free to add the PL decode tone to your KARS K7ID channels. Encode and decode tones are identical per channel.

PL in Ham Radio
Our September meeting was well attended. And why wouldn't it be? We selected our nominating committee members and Lenny N7MOT presented on the history and usage of CTCSS/PL. Go to the Presentations link to view his and other presentations. Be sure to make our next meeting on October 9th to nominate board members for 2018. And if you get a call from our nominating committee, please consider stepping up to fill a board position.
